The body is solid, floors are excellent, the frame is straight with no patches, welded repairs or typical front horn distortions and the 5 combat rims are originals. It had a frame off rebuild a few years ago by a prior owner at which point, among other things the wiring harness was replaced, transmission rebuilt, frame painted the brakes were done (master cylinder, wheel cylinders, pads and lines), the gas tank was replaced, the rear panel was replaced, new tires mounted, the carburetor was rebuilt and the vehicle was painted (sorry I forgot to wash it for the pictures!). The Jeep has had very little use since then. Recently I installed: a new top, bows, brackets and capstan studs, new crash pads & backing plates, body sockets, safety chains, choke and hand throttle pulls, parking brake handle & cable, tandem wipers, spare tire mount, shifter boots and floor rings, battery bracket & J bolts, horn (not connected) & brackets, under hood oil can and bracket, pintle hitch, trailer eyes, floor starter switch (not connected, using key), throttle foot rest, tool and glove box seals, transfer case bottom gasket, bumper, 2 gussets, muffler & hardware, axe handle bracket and tool straps, pioneer tools, hand crank and tire pump, fire extinguisher and decontaminator. I must have forgotten a few things, as I put a lot time and money into the details. The electric system is 12 volts, with a 12 volt starter. Many folks run 12 volts through an original starter and eventually cook it. The engine is a GPW unit with a Willys head. It starts instantly and runs as smooth, quiet and clean as a sewing machine. The equipment and guns pictured are not included. There is one issue, the rear transfer case output seal leaks and must be replaced. I have the seal but not the time. The title incorrectly states it is a Ford GPW, a former owner titled it that way using the engine serial number. I tried to get this corrected but the Massachusetts RMV couldn’t handle it. The Jeep comes as is, no warrantee as it is 69 years old. I am selling my Jeep, as I have run out of time and space (currently I have 2 GPWs, 3 MBs and a custom flat fender Willys). If you have questions email me at jwkamx@yahoo.com. If you could come by and see the Jeep in Lexington MA that would be good, or send a friend in the Boston area to check it out. Bid realistically and good luck. Thanks Jim
