2006 SUBARU IMPREZA STi Won't Start.... This is a fresh water flood recovery. I purchased the car as the foundation for a 500whp build project but recently had a new born baby and other things took priority. It is ultra clean - never mod'd low miles - no accidents, and the only blemishes are shown in the pics. Tires, wheels, brakes are all in working order - all transmission and differential fluids have been changed with Subaru STi spec C synthetics (diff with LS modifier)... The 6 speed, DCCD, front diff and rear diff are fully functional and have no signs of wear via fiber optic inspection scope. I soaked the engine/cylinders in Marvel mystery oil - let sit over night and cranked it over. The engine turns over perfectly - there are no noises or reciprocating issues - it seems like it will start but it does not start. The security light is flashing and the parking lights stay on... So it may be as simple as security reset/protocol, A relay or fuse, or just bad gas as its been sitting. With the new baby - I just do not have time to mess with it - My loss Your gain. Compression Check Results: Cyl 1 - 141psiCyl 2 - 143psiCyl 3 - 140psiCyl 4 - 143psi Everything on the car is operational, but does not start. The pictures of the piston head (low carbon deposit), Turbo inlet wheel/housing (no signs of corrosion), 6speed internals - zero corrosion. These pictures were taken with a Snap-On BK6000 visual inspection fiber optic "snake" device.
