Please note that my reserve price is $5,500.00 I have owned this Stingray for 8 yrs. and do not want to sell it, but I spend 45 days in the hospital and must sell it. there are 2 thinks that you should know: the headlights have to be raised and lowered by hand, 85-90% of the parts are in place on the car, it needs a few vacuum lines and vac. switch. Secondly, It has a hairline crack down the passenger side of the windshield roughly 2-3 inches from window frame and about 14" long. This windshield is 4 years old and the crack is from heat I think. Its been there 2 years and has not increased in size. NOW!!! The GOOD NEWS: It is a 355 SBC BORED .030 and the block top has been "DECKED-OFF" both flat within .001 and to have only .000 to .001 thousand clearance with the bottom of the heads. This allows a smaller area for a more consist and maximum controlled gas-spark combustion. All of this work was completed at a Precision Auto Machine Shop with Corvette Fever Mag. Spec's. The engine horsepower average at peak is 425 hp plus. The engine has less than 5,000 miles since rebuilding with 6" Eagle I-Beam piston rods w/ Wesco Flat top pistons, Crane Gold Series Roller Rockers and a Luntia Cam shaft, with .550 lift. Very impression cam shaft that makes it Rock and Shake at the stop light's. The Head are Bordix ST-1, Alumimun heads, cost $1,200/set. She has a Crosswind AIR-GAP manifold intake which allows it to run cooler, topped of with a HOLLEY Secondary Vacuum, Double Pumper, 750-4 Barrel Carb. with a HOLLEY Red (97 gal./hr) Electrical fuel Pump. It has a Brand New Racing Flywheel with Hardened teeth and a New Proform Hi Torgue Starter with 18 to 1 Compression, 4.41 to 1 gear reduction Starter. The transmission is a TH-350, 3 Speed automatic, just re-sealed, no leaks, with a B & M Shifting kit and a 2400 Holeshot Stall Convector from Summit Racing. The rearend is a 3.70 to 1 ratio from a 1963 corvette, rebuilding 4 years ago and has less than 2,500 miles on it. She will set a a stoplight and smoke tires, or if you choose she will launch off leaving those old Ford Mustangs seating at the light. Trust me this car has "TORGUE". The Paint job is Torch Red, Note: Class B, It has 3 or 4 Hazed area's, really not bad, but you should know. It has a good set of MICHELIN Tires, and the steering is very tight and also very easy to maintain tightest if you every need to adjust yourself. It has brand new Brake Calipers, pass. side, front and back. No radio, you cannot hear it. Tops and windows had new seal kit installed 4 years ago. Interior could use some dressing up before showing. I was more interested in HORSEPOWER. Thanks for looking. Please note: The parking brake capliers are dis-assembled and in a box for shipping, A couple years back I had the Brake rotors remachined flat with/in .002 flat for better braking and was to lazy to put calipers back in. Its flat where I live. *************PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ORIGINAL SPEEDOMETER AND TACK DO KNOW READ CORRECTLY, NOR DOES BATTERY VOLT GAUGE. BUT, I HAVE A GOOD TACK MOUNTED IN THE GAUGE BOX , WATER TEMP. AND OIL PRESSURE GAUGES THAT ARE CORRECT. "PLEASE REMEMBER THIS CAR IS 35 YEARS OLD" AND IS NOT RUSTING ANYWHERE.
