I am the origional owner of this wonderful world touring enduro motorcycle, bought in spring of '06. I have been riding touring bikes for over 20 years and thought this would be a good change for me, since I have ridden all over this country and to Alaska. For those not familiar with all the extras on the Adventure model I would recommend going to bmwmotorcycles.com and looking up all the additions over the regular GS model. In brief it has significant differences in added body parts, protection parts, windscreen, pegs, alternater, larger gas tank, suspension, spoke wheels, etc. This is the Anti-Lock Brake model. Additional parts that I have added, and are visable in the photos, are a Bill Mayer custom leather heated seat, BMW throttle lock/wrist rest, Touratech oil cooler guard, Touratech headlight guard with anti-glare shield, Touratech Hard part LA to protect the telelever and front suspension in case of a fall, Touratech/BMW Pannier racks and top case bracket with special top case and Panniers made by Touratech for BMW. All cases with quick removal clamps, and all keyed to ignition key, Adventurers Workshop Handle bar riser for more comfortable riding seated and standing (origional included). Brake and throttle cables rerouted by dealer. This bike has been completely dealer maintained through BMW of Scottsdale, and obviously has had the expensive 600 mile service done. It has never been down, and has had minimal off road riding. There are no significant blemishes except for a factory dimple in the instrument panel (shown).
