For sale is one (1) well maintained 1989 Honda Pacific Coast sport touring motorcycle. With an 80cc v-twin radiator cooled engine, this motorcycle performs as well on the highway as it does cruising around town or on those fun to drive twisty rural routes. The key feature of this model is its water-tight / fully enclosed lockable trunk, that easily holds two over night duffel bags as well as helmets and riding gear. This motorcycle has great mid-range power, is very smooth / comfortable when cruising longer distances, handles like a sport bike in the twisties, but is a very stable platform to ride. Average mpg is 45. In November of 2010 I performed the following maintenance; re-sealed the forks, replaced both front and rear tires with ME880's (plenty of tread wear remains), installed a quick disconnect battery charger, installed an led integrated tail light on the rear riding seat-back for better stopping visibility, installed a new battery, installed a new halogen headlamp, and performed normal maintenance items (air filter change, engine oil and rear drive oil changes, and replaced all spark plugs). All in all, about $2K in improvements / maintenance performed. Just start her up and off you go. The original stator has been replaced with the new stator (maintenance record of replacement on file). This bike is very "clean" (as you can see from the pictures). That said, this is the 1989 model year, so, as you would expect from a 22 year old motorcycle there are the normal dings, scratches, wear marks, small chips, etc. you would expect from a vehicle of this age. Finally, the oversized Clear View windshield is installed. This larger than stock windshield provides excellent wind and weather protection. This motorcycle is being sold "as is" with no warranty or guarantee what-so-ever. All sales are final. No return will be accepted after sale has been completed. A deposit of $500.00 USD within 24 hours of auction close is required. Full payment is required within 7 days of auction close. If either, nor both, are not received, seller reserves the right to re-list this motorcycle for sale. Buyer is fully / wholly responsible for vehicle pickup at sellers location, or, shipping of the vehicle to buyers location at buyers full cost. This motorcycle is in great shape (mechanically and cosmetically) and will provide many more miles / years of riding to come.
