1972 BMW 3.0 CS, car is in good condition, runs and drives nice. Odometer shows 75342 but I am pretty sure it has gone over once Exterior It was painted before I purchased it, the paint is shiny but the prep work before the paint was not very good, up on close inspection you can see the pint isnt perfectly flat. I would most likely want to paint this car if I was going to put it into top condition. The bumpers have been rechromed, and all the chrome pieces are present and in very good shape, this is a complete car, also I do not know of any body rust or dents. Interior The inside looks very good and is very complete as far as chrome and detail pieces go, the front seats have brand new leather on them, very soft and nice, the rear seats will need to be redone, the wood trim was covered byu the previous owner with a carbon fiber look, it doesn't look to bad. wood kits are available for these. the door panels are in very good condition also. Engine and supension Original 3.0 BMW motor with 2 weber carbs. engine runs VERY WELL, the previous owner had the head rebuilt, it runs great, mated with the factory 4 speed. The suspension looks tired to me, I think the shocks and springs should probably be replaced along with typical suspension items that wear out, surprisenly the suspension items for this car are easy to find and not all that expensive. Tires are not original, and I am sure better rims would do this car justice, these rims amd tires are in good shape, I just don't like them on this car. Overall car is in very good shape, I would drive it across country without hesitation, it looks good, runs well, and is complete as far as all the hard to find trim and pieces. please message me with any questions NO reserve auction.
