You are bidding on a 1971 Chevy Camaro Z28. This car was restored in the early 2000's (but not by me). I have done quite a bit of work to the car recently. It has a 350 small block engine which I had recently had head work done to. It has a Holley carburetor and a 350 automatic transmission. My mechanic pulled the numbers. He found the transmission to be original to the car, but the engine was evidently pulled from a 1970 model. My mechanic just rebuilt the transmission. It has been leaking some fluid since, but I was told it might leak a little for the first few weeks as the gaskets heat up and fuse. Please understand that this is a classic car that requires upkeep and constant maintenance. The underside is starting to get some rust and there is also some surface rust under the paint in a few places on the body. It's not in absolute immaculate shape, but it does still look above average in my opinion. The car was rebuilt with straight exhaust pipes that come out either side under the door. The car also has an alarm system. The winning bidder will actually be paying off the loan from the bank. My bank advised me that to release the title the day of the transaction, that they need to have cash or a cashier's check during normal operating hours Monday through Friday (8:30 - 5:00). I would prefer to have the money transaction done at the bank with all parties present. I will provide a notarized bill of sale to the winning bidder prior to the transaction.
