Awesome 1996 K1500 stepside truck, with the lowest miles you'll ever find for this year, make and model. In addition to the great condition, low original miles, this truck has over $5000 in extras and goodies, from a Warn winch, custom winch bumper, Rhino-lined bed, bed cover, stainless exhaust, power inverter, police scanner, etc. etc. And if you want the stock bumper, I'll be happy to throw that in. As far as I know the Warn winch has never even been used! Power doors, power windows, power driver seat, rear seat, third door. I think the only possible option this doesn't have is leather seats. I'm the second owner. The original owner bought it to commemorate the birth of his first son, with the plan of giving this truck to his son when he was old enough to drive. But as it turned out, his son was a bit of an unreliable pr*ck, so instead, he sold it to me ; ) I bought a few years ago with only 11K original miles and since then put the additional miles on it driving back and forth from Illinois to Wisconsin, so it's 99% tollway miles. The seats have been covered by seat covers since day 1! The original owner kept it in storage since day 1. Since I've had it I kept it garaged, but I did use it as a truck, so it now has some minor wear and tear: a few scratches, minor dings, etc. While it's not 100% perfect, if someone wanted to make it perfect agin, it wouldn't take much work. I wouldn't hesitate to get in this truck and drive it to Alaska tomorrow. It's a reliable workhorse and a beautiful beast. I bought this truck before the arrival of our first child, and dog. Now that I'm a dad, the weekend trips to Wisconsin require more seats to accommodate me, mom, baby, dog, and all our stuff, so the truck needs to go to make room for a 3 row vehicle.As I write this listing a tear flows down my cheek : ) Please let me know if you have any questions or of you'd like more detailed photos. It's an easy fix to repair it. Door still opens and locks no prob because it has keyless entry via the key fob, however the key itself doesn't open it due to the damage to the lock.
