Up for auction is my wife's 2001 Audi A4 Quattro AWD 2.8. She has put a lot of miles on this in the past year and it has been a great car. She wanted another convertible, that's why we are selling. 159K miles, auto trans, tinted windows, 1 touch power windows, leather interior, power and heated front seats, power moon roof, power mirrors, CD & tape, front and rear fogs, cold AC, all the goodies. I am willing to drive up to 50 miles to meet the buyer at no charge. I will drive further to meet up but it would need to be discussed and agreed upon before the auction ended. I've already put a couple hundred miles on this car in a day on numerous occasions. I'm very confident it can be driven anywhere. Good: Starts up every time and runs great. Still very powerful. All new parts have been replaced around spring 2011. New Bosch plugs & wires, Bosch fuel pressure regulator, Audi fuel filter, fuel pump, front & rear brake pads, front outer CV boots, 4 Firestone Champion HR 205/55 R16 directional tires with TONS of life left! These tires are awesome in really bad weather! They reatiled for $118 each when we bought them. And I just put new wipers on today. Bad: The car runs and drives great but inspection stickers ran out 7/11. We have been driving it the entire time without a problem because it has those bad stickers that peel away from the windshield, so you can't even see the month. Could probably get away driving it like that for the rest of the year. The car will definitely pass the safety inspection but not the emissions test due to the check engine light on. I do not know why it's on. The car has been running a little rough at idle. We have also had problems filling the gas tank. The gas pump shuts off about every 1-2 gallons like if it was full but it's not. Just takes a little longer to fuel up. There is a slight oil leak. We don't have a stain where we park but I can smell it when it burns off of the exhaust or whatever its dripping on. The center display is slowly losing pixels. This displays PRNDL, low fluids, doors open, things like that. The speedometer, tach, miles & trip, fuel, battery voltage, oil temp and coolant temp gauges are not affected by this.
