1966 Ford Mustang Convertible. This is a Daily driver project car. It has a new battery, gas tank, shocks and realitvily new tires. The paint is in decent shape and the top is in really good condition. Carpet and backseat are fine and the speedo/gas gauge work. Motor is an original 200 6 cylinder and starts up and runs great. Transmission shifts smooth, no issues. Body is pretty much rust free and the pans have been replaced. I just finished driving it on a 300 mile journey and it got over 26mpg so it could be driven home. To continue the restoration the following will should be done. Suspension needs new bushings and so does the steering to take out some of the play. Rear frame rails need replacing one day. Seats have tears in them and the power top needs help to get the top all the way up. The windshield has a rock chip in it but is not spreading. It will need some work to be a show car but it is a First gen mustang so it isnt like you are going to lose any money on it....You can drive it while you fix it up which is always a plus.
