Here is my 1997 Ford Expedition XLT 4X4. I've driven this truck for two years and it's always been very reliable. I'm selling it because I have another truck and this is my busy season so I don't have time to fix the issues listed below. The paint shines up well with just a wash and looks even better with some wax or polish. The oil has been changed every 3,000 miles since I've had it. The interior is what you would expect for a used truck. I've always kept it as clean as possible. The clear coat on the passenger side of the hood is flaking and I posted a photo of that. This clear coat flaking is only on the passenger side of the hood. The rest of the vehicle paint/clear coat is nice & shiny. Vehicle has no rust that I'm aware of. The Good: Strong 4.6L V8 Motor Low mileage for a 1997 truck (only 106,686 miles) Tranny shifts smoothly Cold AC and hot heat. Also has rear seat temperature controls Six disc CD changer works well and also has AM/FM & cassetteNew battery, new spark plugs & wires in 2010All tires have over 95% tread left on them. Front tires are 9 months old. Back tires are 4 months old. Four new 300 watt 3-way Pioneer speakers installed June 2011All glass including windshield in perfect condition. No dings or chips anywhere. I think the front driver's side needs a new wheel cylinder but I'm not a mechanic so I can't be sure. Brake fluid leaked out on the backside of the tire and there is no pressure in the brake pedal. Because of the brake issue, the truck rolled into a fence on my property at about 10mph while I was moving it. The only caused was the grill protector bent and it prevents the hood from being opened. No body damage was done to the truck as it was only rolling at a very slow speed. The front grill guard needs to be bent back or unbolted to open the hood. These are the only known issues with my truck. I've driven it for two years now and have never had any problems with it. It's always been very reliable for me and I've taken good care of it. I've tried to be as honest as I can regarding the condition of my truck and please feel free to ask any questions you may have before bidding. I'm selling this truck "as is" and have listed all of the known issues along with photos. The Kelly Blue Book value on this truck in the condition it's in is over $3600 but I'm starting the bidding low because I know it needs a little work before it can be driven.
