1985 BMW K-Series

For sale is my 1985 BMW K100RS with 26,651 miles on the bike. The bike runs but will need some TLC to get it back to it's former glory. It has less than 30,000 miles for a bike that usually exceeds 100,000 in their lifetime. This mileage really is nothing for these bikes. I bought this bike with the intentions of restoring it from the ground up but am now not able to. I don't have the room to store the bike or time to give pay it any more attention. It is a great bike that sounds great, just doesn't have the looks part down just yet. I could part the bike out and get my moneys worth but I just don't have the time or feel the need to do such a thing when the bike is up and running. It has a brand new gel battery and genuine bosch fuel pump along with the correct filter and screens to put it all back together, so that right there is about $400 give or take a few. The seat will need recovering, it will need front turn signals and mirrors to start off with. Bike has dual front break discs in the front for plenty of stopping power that your going to need for the massive engine. Has a rare top case from BMW. The best part about the bike would have to be the progressive suspension and sweet 4 into 1 exhaust system. The exhaust system really puts this bike on a different level. I have put in over $2,000 into this bike, to be honest my loss is your gain. This bike is being sold as is with no returns.
