Current tags through 12/2011 Before I listed my Camaro I checked the prices of the Camaro's listed here and others listed elsewhere, then I looked at NADAguids.com web site to get a better idea of what it is wroth. I've invested lots of time and money into building this car. I really hate to have to sell my camaro, But I'm 64 and need a back operation and must pay my Doctor bills. Check This Out For Yourself, go to --- NADAguids.com --- this is what it say's about a 71 Camaro RS; Just click on (add options) shown below, and it will thake you to NADAguids.com web site. It could be an older restoration or a well-maintained original vehicle. Completely operable. The exterior paint, trim, and mechanics are presentable and serviceable inside and out. A "20-footer". These are NADAguides.com words ---- Not mine. 1971 Red Camaro RS All new black interior, NEW POWER WINDOWS, newly built 200R4 --- 4 speed automatic transmission with over drive. Engine has been Blue Printed and Balanced with approximately 3,500 miles on a recent rebuild, using roller cam and rockers, aluminum Trick Flow heads. Headmen Headers, Edelbrock manifold, with Holly Street Avenger Carb. Everything from the Radiator to the tail shaft of the transmission is new or rebuilt. Plus, I've added a 2,300 dollar PROFESSIONALLY built, 200R4 transmission with O/D and a Heavy Duty, torque converter. This car is not a radical hot rod, I built it to be a sleeper with a smooth idle. So it sounds stock. BUT it will come to life when you push the peddle under your right foot to the floor,--- or you can drive like a little old lades car. I built it to be a reliable, strong running street car and a good highway cruiser. I installed electric windows, and the Factory Tachometer in the insterment cluster. The engine was built to last for years to come. I used this car as a second car and drive when I needed to. Not every day, I didn't want to use it up. Stock 10 bolt rear end with 3:23 gears, ratching posilock (prostration) and the over drive transmission Makes for a fine highway cruiser. And with Lakewood traction bars, frame connectors and shocks. The 10 inch Center Line wheels, tires are near new, low profile tires, makes it lower to the ground. The car has not been lowered, the suspension is all stock height. The rear tires are 12 inches wide. fronts tires are 8 inches wide. The hood I bought new is a Steel, Classic Industries, Cowl Induction hood. It also has a new windshield and battery and a kicking CD stereo installed with a 100 watt amp mounted in trunk. The car is very smooth and quick. It makes a sharp looking Street Rod. It's easy to drive and Lots of fun and it always gets lots of looks everywhere I go. The cooling is accomplished by a temperature controlled electric fan mounted on the radiator. THIS IS A FACTORY RALEY SPORT, NOT A CLONE. I HAD THE # CHECKED TO KNOW FOR SURE. The stock factory engine and transmission were long gone before I bought the car. BUT, I do still have the stock hood that will go with it Plus many other parts I have picked up for it over the last 10 years that will go with the car. It needs a new heater core installed and I have a new one for it. It could use a better paint job. It has a small amount of rust at the bottom of the rear wells, from water that leaked in the trunk because of a poorly sealed rear window. I have new steel body panels to repair that problem, these will all be included. And should be an easy fix. I had the rear window taken, out tinted, resealed and reinstalled, there is no leaks now. This is the only rust in have found the body. This car is not a Concourse Show Car, or a completely stock car, it could use a good paint job and some TLC. It is a mildly built street rod that is reliable, runs great and a good looking car that can be driven daily if necessary. It start's and runs great every time. The new owner will get every Camaro part I have been saving for this car. If the new owner doesn't pick up the parts when the car is picked up he-or-she stands a good chance of loosing them. The buyer assumes all costs of shipping and will make all arangents their self. For insurance reasons, I will not even drive the car to what ever shipping company you use. The car must be Picked up at my home, along with all the extra parts you will get with the car. The buyer will make a $500 deposet using Pay-Pal and the ballace to be paid in full by Cash only. No checks of any kind. -Cash--Only-! The car will stay in my position untill it is paid for in full.
