1986 BMW R65 with "S" fairing. 2,522 original miles. I am the second owner and purchased this bike a while back for my personal collection. The bike was purchased new from Heritage BMW in Greensburg, PA. I made a copy of the original title that was dated July 29, 1986. I was required to turn in the original title when I finally got around to registering the bike in Texas. This bike is complete and not missing anything from new. I have ridden it maybe 200 miles while in my possession. It has been checked out and detailed from top-to-bottom and end-to-end. All electrical items work as new, including the clock. It is mechanically as new and not fully broken in yet. Cosmetically, it is perfect with the exception of a few minor and light scratches on the tank, most likely from storage, as strange as that may sound. No dents, dings, or cracks anywhere. The seat is perfect and as new. It is in truly amazing and exceptional condition by the standards of the most picky of collectors, of which I am one. The new owner will feel as if they are taking delivery of a new, 1986 BMW R65.Original key set. One key plus a duplicate that operates the ignition, fuel cap lock, seat lock, and fork lock.
