Vehicle Detail
My priorities have changed and so I am listing my 1975 Porsche 911. This has been my pet project for a number of years now and I have more money in it than I can ever hope to recoup. If you are not familiar with Renegade Hybrids, please check out their website www.renegadehybrids.com. Starting with a solid 75 911 without a sunroof (more rigid, less weight) I sourced turbo front fenders and had fiberglass (weight, again) flares installed in back. The whale tail is fiberglass with a rubber lip. Body is in good shape, minimal work and it's ready for paint, or not, I like the look of the primer but planned on eventually having it painted. The gaps are o.k. The doors could use some adjustment, however, my plan was to find a pair of fiberglass doors prior to paint. The interior is in very good shape. Stock with the exception of a Momo steering wheel, Blaupunkt c.d. and Auto-meter gauges (tach, temp., oil pressure). Perfect dash, new carpet, seats have been repaired at the inside seam, visible in picture of drivers seat. The heart of the beast is a brand new Chevy small block. .30 over, Lunati pistons, Scat crank, Trick-Flo heads, Holley carb, new distributor, cap, wires, alternator, fuel pump, 700 ft. lb. starter, battery, on and on... The radiator is visible in the pics, 2 fans push air, 1 fan pulls. Temp never gets above 180. While it seems odd to have a v8, a small block with aluminum heads is actually a few pounds lighter than a stock 930 turbo engine. This car accelerates, handles and brakes like a 400 hp Porsche should, however, it can be a handful and should only be driven by someone who has experience with very fast cars. I'm serious, this is scary fast and unforgiving. Other mentionables include Miro 19X10 and 19X8 wheels with brand new General Exclaim UHP tires and H4 headlights. In conclusion, this is a beautiful and unique 911. I've put lots of money and time getting it where it is today. It doesn't need much, little things here and there. I'm still working on getting the clutch adjusted just right and I have a shift bushing kit that needs to be installed. I'll try to answer all questions, and will assist with shipping. Please, only bid if you have the money and your wife / significant others blessing. There will be no test drives till I see money in your hand. Thanks for looking.
