Here is my 1959 Biscayne No time to finish so its up for auction. Has a fresh 283 bored 30 over, roller rockers comp cams thumpr. Sounds nice very choppy idle with very smooth power. Rochester 2 jet carb. Center dump ram horn manifolds. Manual steering and brakes. Here is what has been replaced Comlpete front end has been rebuilt with new upper and lower ball joints, control arm bushings inner and outer tie rod ends, new idler arm. New brakes all around including drums, shoes, wheel cylinders, hoses, master cylinder rebuilt, wheel bearings, the whole works. New fuel tank with new sending unit, new trunk floors, new floorpans, new carpet, new headliner, new heater core (retrofitted from a 65 olds), reinstalled original 3 on the tree shift linkage shifts nice and tight. New dual exhaust, New radiator, new alternator, ect. Here is what needs attention The windshield has some clouding,The windshield wiper motor needs rebuild, Interior needs finishing I have all the door panel pieces to have them recovered. The flat black paint is fading and has chips. But its a neat car and It always gets attention wherever it goes. I will not ship. Milage stated is appox since the odometer has stopped counting.On Oct-07-11 at 21:31:24 PDT, seller added the following information: Car has some frame rust drivers side by rear bumper, Not through. Rockers are rusted backside and some bottom. Passenger side door glass has cracked front and back. That should answer some of your questions. I had built this as an everyday driver so it is by far not perfect.
