1997 Honda XR

You are bidding on a 1997 Honda XR400R. Bike is in excellent shape and shows very little wear. Starts and runs great and ready to hit the trail. This bike is completely stock and unmolested except for a K&N air filter and aftermarket handlebars. The bike is for offroad use only and I do not have a title. Bike will be sold on a bill of sale. From what I can tell, this bike hasn't seen much use, as it still has the original front tire and is super clean. It doesn't look like the bike sat outside, as there is almost no surface rust anywhere. Carburetor has just been rebuilt, oil changed and valve clearances adjusted. When I checked the valves, the top end of the motor was extremely clean and when I did the oil change, the oil that came out looked great. All plastics are in great shape, but do have some minor scratches from the trail. I removed the gas tank stickers, as these had bubbled up from spilled fuel, but you can order these through your local Honda dealer. The seat has no tears and the foam is still nice and firm. Front fork seals are good and the suspension is nice and smooth. Chain and sprockets are in great shape, and look to be the originals, which is another clue that this bike has low hours.
