Up for auction is a 1969 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible with the optioned 428 motor. I have owned this car for a year now and I have enjoyed it every time I drive it. It has a BaseCoat/ClearCoat paint job done in Dupont's Ultra Jet Black, the darkest black there is. Car was then color sanded and buffed and polished to a high luster. Car is straight for such a large car. This whole car was ground down to bare metal prior to body work. I have photos to prove cars work performed. The engine in this car is a 428 high output motor. This engine really purrs and is really tight and strong. Engine has the stock Pontiac exhaust header manifolds which are sealed and has no exhaust leaks. From the exhaust manifolds it goes to 2.5 inch pipes and moderate mufflers. Doesnt sound like a dragster, but has a low growl that lets folks know your coming. Car leaks nothing, now what is that worth to you! The inside of the car has had brand new seat skins. Its a split bench with an arm rest and the front and rear seats have been reskinned professionally. The top on the car is newer, from the previous owner along with a new top motor. Top switch on the dash works like it should to operate the top. The car also has power windows. Three of the 4 windows work, im replacing the 4th window motor this coming week to make all the windows work. The dash is in great shape but could use a newer dash cluster, previous owner put a aftermarket in and I had to reinstall the factory stereo, but the fit of the dash pod into the dash is in need of finishing. Im no mechanic and I dont want to make any thing worse so I stopped and took it to the level its in now. Both the enigne compartment and the trunk compartment is clean and stock and detailed. The trunk is finished off in Pontiac's Black and Aqua splatter paint and then has been clearcoated to preserve the trunk. All new weather stripping has been installed throughout the car. The underside of the car has been undercoated with rubberized undercoating for weatherproofing the bottom of car from the elements, rain mostly. The car has also had a new windshield, starter, alternator, tune up parts and fuel pump. Car has a Holley carburator on top that is brand new, but I am also including the stock carb in with the sale for those who wish to put it back to stock. The car rides on a set of 15 inch Pontiac rally 2 rims with newer tires designed for a heavier cars. They are Arizonian tires that are 225/75/15's. I have tried to be as honest and as descriptive as I possible can on this car. It has been a great experience owning this car and it shows nicely. People stop dead in their tracks when they see it coming down the street. Its quite impressive up close. As with any sale, the car comes in As Is condition with no expressed warrenty.
