1971 Camaro. New blood orange with black racing strips paint job ( have extra paint to go with car ). New 4" fiberglass cowl hood with low tension hood springs. Fresh build motor. 454 block with a 1053 steel 427 crank. Speed Pro 10-1 pistons. ARP bolts through out low end. Oval port heads with 2.19 int. 1.88 ext. valves. Air gap aluminum intake. New Holly 800 cfm carb. I have near $1000.00 just into the carb between purchase and race tuning. MSD HEI Distributor ( $400.00 ) with mechanical advance. Engine has about 500 miles on it since built. Hooker SuperComp headers black ceramic coated ( $1000.00 ) Had the ceramic coating done a professional shop for better quality than what you get from Hooker. 2 inch primary tubes and 3.5 inch collectors. Full 3 inch stainless steel exhaust with an X pipe. 373 posi rearend. New rear drum brakes and new front disc. 2 inch lowering Hotckis big block spring in front and 1 1/2 lowering blocks in back. Front end has be recently rebuilt as well. Drives tight. Turbo 350 trans with a stage 2 shift kit. B & M shifter. Big block aluminum radiator with two thermostatically controlled fans. Runs nice and cool! Power steering. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would say the interior is a 6. Drivers seat and right rear seat need upolstering. Carpet up front is faded in areas. I would give the paint and body work an 8 out of 10. This is a great looking car but not show quality. This is a car to go out and have fun with. I have $15000.00 invested. Must sell due to job loss and relocation. Bummer!! Motor was machined ans assembled by Daves Performance Engineering. Estimated horse power around 500. This is not a car for the faint of heart.
