1958 MGA 1500 that has an older amatuer restoration most likely done by the previous owner. There is no rust, it has a solid body and frame, very good chrome, nice interior with minor wear on the driver seat from getting in and out. The engine seems to be correct but is not original, it sounds very good, no tapping, no smoke, it seems healthy. The clutch and all the gears work correctly, overall mechanically it appears very good however the brakes need attention. Solid brake pedal but it will not stop very good so I don't recommend driving it until that is corrected. All the brake parts 'look' in good shape so it may need a master cylinder. THE PAINT IS BAD, it has 'fish eyes' all over and some 'lifting' or bubbling from poor preparation - not from rust. The convertible top is in excellent condition but there is a gap where it meets the windshield so it may require some kind of adjustment. I do not have the side curtains for the doors. The mileage on the title shows 'exempt' because of the year. I hope this is an accurate description, please excuse anything I may have ommited as I am not very familiar with these cars.
