Authentic 27,320 mile 1957 Golden Hawk.. 4 Owner. First owner had it from 1957 to 1972. Second had it from 72 to 2006. Our friend bought it from the estate of the second owner. We then purchased it from our friend in 2006. This is a very unique situation. Along with this ’57 Golden Hawk, we also have a newly rebuilt, never installed McColloch supercharger, rebuilt Stromberg carburetor, supercharger belt and carburetor gaskets. The mileage is documented on the as we have the old titles. This is the perfect Golden Hawk to restore as it has the pedigree that none others have. The engine starts. We have driven it around the lot and the engine is strong and the transmission shifted. We suggest the new owner would have to completely review the brakes and other mechanical systems. We purchased the car about 5 years ago. We were going to do some work on it, but our body man had some health issues and could not finish the floors. We have the floor parts which are shown in the pictures. The parts in the pictures are also included in the sale. We have a few other minor parts which are included but not shown in the pictures. Please notice the fender skirts which we have never seen before. Please also notice the originality of the engine stickers. We believe many parts of the car still have the original paint. We are selling the car as there is a change in our time commitments and we no longer have time to enjoy the Golden Hawk. This car is part of our personal collection of which we are selling. We have a niece and nephew that want to do many things and along with other commitments. We are hoping that the next owner will enjoy this car and bring it back to its glory. Golden Hawks are considered to be one of Studebakers most collectible cars. We are looking for a new home and wish that the new owner will truly enjoy an original American Classic car like this Golden Hawk.
