Offered for sale is the most fun car I've ever owned--a 2001 GTI GLX, with the powerful VR6 engine. Never modified, only adult driven by non-smokers. 5-speed manual transmission, leather interior, power windows and sunroof, 6-CD changer in the trunk. Time for something with more doors. Interior is in excellent shape--an 8.5/10. Black leather seats have no tears, and very little visible wear. Body is straight, with minor nicks in both the front and back bumpers. The rest of the body is extremely clean, no dents, no rust, no issues. Tires have about 50% wear remaining. Mileage is high (over 185k), but the engine was replaced at 170k miles, and has only 85k miles on it at present. MAF sensor, power steering pump, catalytic converter all replaced recently. Car needs rear shocks, but is still a solid daily driver, with German engineering and fast, fun performance. Will not ship overseas; domestic shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser, although I'll work with buyers to make arrangements.
