1955 chevrolet bel air convertible,fast good running and fun to drive.It has a chevolet small block v-8 with aluminum angle plug heads, B&M blower with two 600 cfm edelbrock carbs..Ignition is supplied by a MSD dist+MSD 6a control box.All fasteners on engine including head bolts are ARP stainless.For cooling it has a Griffin aluminum radiator with electric fan. Transmission is a turbo 400 with a B&M floor shift cooled by a dyaexternal cooler in front of radiator.Rearend is a drumbrake 9 inch ford with 410 gears & moser axels.front spindels are 2 inch dropped with disc brakes.Car has been built and driven for over 15 years,it has its share of paint chips and dings from use.It still retains all original engine and transmission mounts if someone wants to go that way.The car has no hood.The color on the cowl tag shows it was a black car with red/white interior.Has full set of gauges under dash with monster tach on column.This is not a 100 point show car,but shows well.Inspections are welcome and advised.Car is driven daily when weather is nice,and is very fun to drive.Car is for sale local,reserve the right to end auction early.Winning bidder buys car,so lets not waste each others time! thanks,call Richard with any questions(504)339-1635 car can be picked up at cruising the coast
