Vehicle Detail
Up for sale we have a 1970 DeVille Convertable. It is a great example of a driver car. The car has the 472 ci engine, automatic trans., power convertable top. All power equipment works very well. The paint does show some wear, with acouple very small dents, and scuffs. The interior is in good shape, with alittle wear on the outer edge of the drivers seat. The drivers armrest is cracked. Other than that, the interior is in very good shape. The leather is very nice, the dash is perfect, carpet is in very good condition. The top is in great shape, and works well. The frame and undercarrige are extremely solid. The engine has a new alternator, and water pump. It runs and shifts flawlessly. It makes plenty of power, which is how a Cadillac of this vintage should be. The car stops smooth and straight, and rides like a cloud. This car could be driven anywhere. As I have stated the car shows well as a 41 year old car. I would not be ashamed to float into a local show, or cruise night with this machine. If you have any questions call Joe at 814-781-6084, or 814-389-2349. All questions will be answerd. We would invite anyone to come inspect the car. We keep it at home and is always here. Now the important buisness. DO NOT bid if you do not intend to win the car. You may be surprised at the low reserve on this classic Cadillac! Thank you, and enjoy! On Sep-28-11 at 18:51:11 PDT, seller added the following information: I did fail to point out that the car has a current Pennsylvania inspection. On Oct-02-11 at 13:04:04 PDT, seller added the following information: In response to the questions I have been asked, the underneath of this car is solid. It has been a Pennsylvania car all of its life. There is some rust. NOT TO BE CONFUSED with ROT!!!!! When I say rust, I mean rusty, but solid. The car IS NOT GOING TO BREAK IN HALF!!! I would rather make it sound worse, so there is no suprises. The chrome does show some pitting. It is scuffed here and there. It is not beat up. If you are looking for a trailer queen, I suggest one of the beautiful examples for $15,000-35,000 that are being offered on ebay. We are selling this car, as a big fun convertable Cadillac that you can restore, or enjoy as-is. Thank you.
