It has been completely detailed and is ready to go!! It runs and drives 110%! There has only been two Owners since brand new in 1991. There hasn't been any reported accidents or paintwork. It has always been properly serviced and it really shows on this 240. The previous owner was a 92 year old man. This was also a non-smoker 240 wagon. The clean, two owner, Autocheck Vehicle History report is included in the listing just above this description. The body is in absolutely superb condition. The blue paint appears totally original and shines nicer than any 240 I've ever seen. The body doesn't have any dents, dings, or scratches that I can mention. There is no rust on the car at all. The undercarriage is clean and dry, free of any leaks. The car looks great and gets many compliments when driven. We've had many clean 240 Volvos over the years and I would have to say that this is probably the nicest one so far. The rare tan leather interior is also in excellent condition. The carpets, seats, headliner, dashboard, and glass really don't show any wear. The rear seats do have some adhesive that is on the leather material. It appears that this would come off with a little work. The car is free of any smoke smells, burns, or marks on the interior. There is also an unused cigarette lighter included. Currently the radio is showing "Code", however it does turn on and pick up some stations. All of the electronics are functioning properly. The car feels very solid and planted. It drives like the absolute tank that these cars are known for. There are no warning lights illuminated on the dash. The 4-Cylinder engine starts instantly with no smoke hot or cold and runs perfect. The transmission shifts through the gears perfectly. This car goes completely straight down the road without any shakes, rattles, or pulls. The brakes are firm with no pulsations. The front end is nice and tight. The car has been through our service shop completely and it ready to go. It did receive the R134A retrofit and a new thermostat. It has been serviced by Volvo and European car specialists it's whole life. It has just about every service interval stamped. It was serviced so well that the timing belt has already been replaced twice! Once in May of '95 with 50k, and again in may of '06 with 90k.
