Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a used 2000 K2500 HD 4x4 regular cab pickup truck with western uni-mount pro-plow with back drag blade. I am the 2nd owner, and have owned it for 3 years. Everything on plow works good. Engine runs strong (5.7L) 350. Has new gas tank, new fuel pump. Shocks are about 1 1/2 years old. 4-wheel drive works good. Truck is in need of new automatic transmission (4L80E). Truck moves forward in all gears when pressure builds up in tranny. Truck is not currently inspected and has been off the road for last 2 years. It was only used for plowing by first owner and myself. Has some body rust and undercarriage rust. Is in need of new back brake line (currently pinched off) so front brakes are only ones working. A/C does not work. Tires are in fair shape, and I have 2 extra tires that will fit truck which are in fair shape. Battery is a little weak. Interior is in fair to good shape--no holes. If interested, please email with any questions. If local, feel free to stop & take a look before bidding. Buyer is responsible for all shipping. Thanks for looking. INTERIOR: Dashboard no cracks, seats no holes or tears, clean. On Sep-28-11 at 19:01:47 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE: I just showed the truck to someone and we discovered a small pinhole in one of the oil lines which run from the oil filter housing to the oil cooler. Pinhole is closest to the oil filter housing. This means a new line will need to be put in. Want to keep it honest. I won't hold it against anyone if you choose to rescind your bid. On Oct-01-11 at 15:12:04 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE: Replaced both upper and lower oil cooler lines today, no more leaky oil lines.
