OK,this is a nice LOW mile 100% stock 5 SPEED PORSCHE 928S 4 valve. I have owned MANY 928 5 speeds in my life (over the last 25 years) The dashboard has no cracks (common & ugly problem with these) this is VERY good news as that is next to impossible & EXTREMELY cost prohibitive to replace and you see it every day The transmission upshifts and downshifts PERFECTLY warm OR cold as it should (a common problem with these), the clutch is perfect no chatter & correct free play The leather is soft and supple not hard and stretched (common problem with these if they sit in the sun alot etc) It has dual A/C (the A/C will only hold freon for maybe a month so there IS a slow leak somewhere and a dye test will reveal where but the system/compressor IS functioning) BRAND NEW front spoiler (not even installed yet but I will), the original one was scraped and a BRAND NEW one looks so nice so I got an OEM FRONT SPOILER from Porsche for it Timing belt- I JUST took off the covers and checked it, NO cracking NO looseness NO problem there, I did crack one of the distributor caps when I was opening it up so I bought two NEW OEM distributor caps and rotors (the old ones are still good except that 1 cracked one) Brakes are excellent NO pulsing, NO pulling and good pedal, thick pads all around Steering Wheel has NO fraying thread and is in great shape (commonly these original steering wheels are rough looking, NOT the case here) Front tires are new, rears are ok, rims are great shape Engine runs great, no leaks no problems, new oil & filter change too NO windshield cracks, chips or scratches Rear panels under the rear side windows are NOT warped (common to these when the sit outside in the sun alot) Blaupunkt stereo (original) has cassette and a side Blaupunkt unit that is wired and is CD, honestly yeah sure it works and is original but I would get a new indash to update it, the volume knob for example crackles a little from dusty dirty contacts inside when you adjust it The things that are so commonly bogus on these cars are all good, body is straight, interior is really nice, mechanically strong etc.... This IS a great deal and a great car for someone. I have no room for it over the winter and I want it to stay inside so I will sell it. I think it is probably worth $12-$13k I am having this NO RESERVE auction starting at $9500, THAT my friends IS a steal for what you are getting, good luck bidding and call me with ANY questions or need for more pictures or even a video etc...
