This van will need some work for it to pass inspection. The horn and speedometer don't work. The speedometer reads 129,000 miles. Really not sure what the actual miles are. There is also a problem with the brakes. It sounds like one of the rotors are warped. I had one of the rotors replaced but it didn't fix the problem. The motor is water cooled and has always ran good.Some of the things i have done were new plugs and plug wires,new hoses,tires and belt. This van was a daily driver for me for two years. I have bought another van and have no place to keep it. I have seen ads on The Samba for V.W. vans of a similar year,that didn't run, and was asking $4000.On Sep-27-11 at 13:54:18 PDT, seller added the following information:When i bought this van in St.Paul MN.the seller showed me that the sink and frig. were working. I drained the water for winter and to this date i have never used them. The windshild wipers are controled by a switch on the dash. The winning bider is welcome to give me a call.
