up for NO RESERVE AUCTION .1969 ford torino cobra 9k46q code car .former race car/show car. originally red 428 cobra jet 4 speed car . the hood was modified for ram air and the scoop added. the dash has a sun super tach installed and a set of gages installed. has original black bucket seat interior. no engine ,transmission and the 31 spline n case and axels have been replaced with standard 28 spline 3rd member and axels .matched 14x7 aluminum slot mags . the car has had a rear clip put in it in the distant past.you really cant tell but the welding seam in the floor board show the evidence. the body is not rusty other than a few spots where the paint flecked off .underhook is show car blue and pretty nice. no spring shackels ever , no slapper bars , no roll cage ,drive shaft safety hoops or any chassis modifications . power steering power disc brakes .floor pan and rear quarter are good. the interior is pretty nice,it looks terrible because it is filthy dirty i stored it in the nevada desert for about 5 years and that power dust coats every thing. but the dash and door panels will clean up backseat will cleanup ,the front buckets are great seats but they both have a split in them. the car was last run with a 460 automatic setup and when they did the floor pan replacement they used an automatic floor board with out the shifter hole and hump. so no hole for the 4 speed shifter. the 429-460 motor mounts power steering pump ,alternator and the big cobra jet automatic drive shaft are all included. the original 4 speed pedals are still in place .the speedometer reads a straight 59,785 miles. windshield and all glass is good . doors line up and open and close properly . the side windows need to be reset ,and are loose .the body trim is all pretty good shape .the car probably hasent run for 30 years or longer .originally raced out of port falls idaho .SPRING FEVER .SUTTON AUTO BODY . do what you want with it race it or restore it . clear idaho title .
