1979 Honda CM400T

This is a 1979 Honda CM400t. Origanally a small tour bike. I tore it down to the frame. Stretched the frame 5" and made a custom hardtail. Painted metallic red, the tank was cleaned and treated with tank cream. A New gas cap was purchased. The bike was assembled with new tires, tubes, wheel bearings/seals, new rear brake shoes. rims were painted to match origanal style. The forks were assembled with new gooseneck bearings, new Harley 1" risers with custom built ape hangers. New cables. The carburators were rebuilt using 100% origanal Honda parts . Volocity stacks were installed. The motor is origanal. Installed a new Larosa leather seat. This bike has been sitting for a few years waiting to be finished. Items needed to finish are as follows; Needs a Pet cock for the Honda CBX 200 Rebel tank that is installed. The rear tank mount requires final fitment. New fuel line and filter. New Battery. Weld or clamp the custom exhaust to the OEM down pipes. Final tune up and fresh oil/filter change. This was a running bike prior to the reconstruction which was +/- 3 years ago.
