Vehicle Detail
1948 Ford F-1 Panel Truck. Total restoration of a rust-free Colorado truck. This truck is beautiful and runs and drives as well as it looks. Complete stock restoration that included all mechanical components. Rebuilt 6 cylinder engine, transmission and drive train. Fantastic red paint. The frame and bottom along with the inside of the body are as nice as the outside. Great advertising platform for your business, Ford dealership or just a nice addition to any collection. Restored using both NOS and high-quality reproduction parts. Windows were replaced with correct Ford logo reproduction glass. Restored and rebuilt original gauge cluster. Rebuilt and recalibrated speedometer. New wiring harness. New brake system including wheel cylinders, brake shoes, hardware, lines, hoses and NOS brake drums. NOS radiator and NOS steering wheel. All new rubber and weatherstrip. New floor in back with new wood, metal bed strips and hardware. LeBaron Bonney seat kit. Only non-stock parts are a new 6 volt electric fuel pump and 6V Optima battery. Only 1,770 miles traveled since completion in the mid-90s. More than $30K spent to complete this correct and highly detailed restoration not including the original purchase price. $3K spent in the last two years on comprehensive maintenance including carburetor rebuild, engine re-seal, tie rods, muffler, hoses and all service related items. Truck is ready to show or drive. Includes photo album of the restoration. Free and clear Ohio title in hand. One small paint chip behind the front bumper (see picture) about the size of a quarter. Other than that, everything has held up very nicely considering it was restored over 15 years ago. I will not disclose the reserve so please don’t ask. I encourage interested parties to come and inspect the truck before bidding and/or buying. No warranties of any kind assumed or implied. Feel free to ask questions and I will answer promptly. $1000 noon-refundable deposit by Paypal within 48 hours of auction close. Balance in cash upon pickup or by wire transfer if shipping. I am not able to deliver this truck but I will assist in any way I can. Truck and title do leave my hands until balance is paid in full and all funds have cleared. Truck must be picked up within seven days of auction close unless other arrangements have been made prior to the end of the auction.
