Vehicle Detail
1998 Toyota Sienna. This Van has been daily-driven by non-smoking adults, as a family vehicle. We were given a second Sienna, and do not have room to park this one. Extremely reliable, MANY New parts, we would drive this anywhere with Confidence! Rust-Free, and always well-maintained. Perfect for a family, band, carpenter, or motorcycle enthusiast. Priced low to sell quickly. NEW PARTS: Starter 11/4/09 Left Door Handle 6/7/09 Rear Liftgate Handle 11/3/09 Wheel Center Cap 4/15/09 Wood Dash Kit 2/15/09 Both CV Half-Shafts (axles) 2/29/11 Left Spindle 4/21/11 Sway Bar Links 2/13/11 Tie Rod Ends 3/25/11 2004 Sienna Alloy Rims Michelin X Radials (50%+ tread left) Radiator 3/18/10 Class III Trailer Hitch 3/25/08 Brand New $110. Battery Motor was replaced with a 50,000 mile unit 11/6/2006 Very Solid, with No rust-through. Surface rust from stone chips needs touchup. New windshield last year, after homestore broke it. Brand-New set of Bosch Platinum Plugs Recent Transmission filter and fluid change Recent Oil Change. Mobil-1 Full-Synthetic Oil. Wix Filters New Brake Rotor on Driver-Side. Throttle Body cleaned 500 miles ago. Needs: Driver-Side Sliding Door Handle Replaced Passenger Outside Door Handle Replaced ($25.00 on ebay, easy fix) Alignment Exhaust could use flex connector replaced. Not obnoxiously loud, but louder than stock. Carpet has stains from kids and use. Dents. Mild in panels, couple of palm-sized one's in the plastic bumpers. (Probably could be popped-out) Stereo. Installed aftermarket that quit some time ago... Timing Belt was changed when replacement motor was installed. Probably due to be replaced again. **Chassis has 242,137 miles-but has been well taken-care of. Motor was replaced less than 100,000 miles ago, so there are fewer than 142,000 miles on this motor. I have and would drive this anywhere. Due to the high miles on the chassis, and this being the vehicle that took my kids to school and on trips, I started replacing the suspension components. These motors are good for 300,000 miles or more. The one that was in the van when I bought it was one of Toyota's infamous "sludge" engines. (Do a google search for Toyota Sienna/Camry Sludge) Toyota wouldn't stand behind it because I wasn't the original owner... Replacement motor was checked out, and installed by a reputable shop. Only reason I am selling this van, is that I was given a 2004 Sienna, and cannot justify having two. Would not hesitate to drive this anywhere. I cannot deliver the vehicle. Please feel-free to ask any questions well in-advance of the end of the auction. I will answer all questions honestly, and to the best of my ability. *Payment is to be via Paypal at the end of the auction.
