You're looking at my 1978 Volkswagen Westfalia camper. She runs and drives excellent! The motor and transmission were rebuilt 1000 miles ago at Kotters VW repair in San Diego, and run perfectly. The engine is a 2.0 liter fuel injected Type4 with all stock parts. Cruises at 70-75 on the freeway. Brakes, front end, rear end have been serviced regularly with complete records/receipts. Tires are in good condition, with about 80% tread left, the spare tire is new. Inside there is a complete camper interior with sleeping for 5, stove, refridgerator, sink, propane tank and lots of cabinets. Interior is stock with the exception of the upholstery. The engine rebuild included all new internal parts - pistons, rods, bearings. Remachined heads, etc. Stock fuel injection is installed. Transmission rebuild included new internals, along with new CV joints and mounts. She drives straight, shifts very nicely, no funny noises. There is a dual battery setup, so the main battery is always ready to start the bus, the accessories run on the aux. battery. The rear seat folds into a bed for 2, the upper bed sleeps 2, and there is a childs cot that installs over the front seats for sleeping for 1 child.
