This bus is just too cool for school...Talk about a rolling art piece....My Dad once said that most people create art that you have to go to the gallery to see. He said that I create art that literally comes to the people in the form of these wonderfully restored VW's. I am very proud of how well this bus turned out. People just seem to be drawn to it with its 70's style and beauty. The color combination brings out the best of modernism which is so popular these days. With its fresh new paint and interior it's as if you went back to the future as you drive off the show room floor in 1979. Here I am raving about the looks of this bus and forgot to mention just how well it runs and drives. I was told by the previous owner that the motor had been rebuilt within the last 15 thousand miles or so but did not received any paperwork to go with it. The motor sounds and drives great, the trans shifts smooth, the brakes stop straight, and the front end doesn't clunk or wander. I also skipped over my favorite part of this bus and that is the new interior. It holds seven people comfortably with seat belts for everyone. Combine that with the CD player and your friends and family will not want to stop cruising once you get started. I could go on and on but I should go ahead and cut to the chase: 1979 is the last year of the bay window buses. These buses are getting more and more valuable everyday.
