I am very careful about my descriptions having gone on many wild goose chases to see bikes and cars that turned out to be in far less condition than advertised. I am sure many of you have been in the same boat so I will do my utmost to describe this beauty so that there are NO disappointments. Outstanding original unrestored 1976 Honda CB550F Super Sport. Have clear New Hampshire title. VIN No. CB550F2009528 Manufactured on 6/75 Outstanding chrome with barely a blemish. Stunning original sapphire blue metallic paint with NO sun fade and barely a scratch. Shows 19,235 miles on odometer but my title says 3000 miles. Starts and runs flawlessly with no smoke on startup or while running and no odd engine noises. Pulls strong thru all 5 gears with no hesitation. Starts easily hot or cold with electric start or the kick start. All gauges work. All lights work, high and low beam, tail light and stop light, all directional’s, gauge lights. Has that sexy curvy set of exhaust pipes with no blueing and the original muffler is in outstanding condition also with no rusting on any part of the exhaust. New battery. Tires in excellent condition. Brakes work very well with no issues. Clutch works very well with no slipping. Has the correct original unobtainable brown Super Sport seat which is in outstanding condition and still supple with no rips, tears or cuts. It does have a couple of small dings on the seat trim chrome in one spot as shown in the closeup. Handle bars are sportier black superbike bars and not the originals. Left side cover is an unpainted one that needs to be painted in correct color or find a mint original on ebay. You rarely find these that have not been turned into a cafe racer because the exhaust was shot or the rest of the bike was abused and here is your chance to own a fast appreciating classic collector bike in original condition. New owner will not be disappointed. Reasonable reserve. Please note that I use my own picture service so you get larger and higher quality photos and I took many to show every aspect of this bike so you get no unwanted surprises. And unlike many of the listings on eBay, I have gone to great lengths to fully disclose any problems. I cannot crate and buyer is responsible for shipping. Can hire local to deliver to Forward Air in Boston for an extra $100.00 if that helps. Motorcycle is sold as is as shown with no warrienties expressed or implied but I stand behind my description 100%.
