I'm selling my 1974 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ-40. It's got a very good running 350 SBC mated to the FJ40 4-speed transmission. All conversion and mounting kits, clutch and aluminum bell-housing were bought from Downy and professionally installed. Saginaw power steering box and BTB Products mount were professionally installed. Also has front disc brakes, 4 inch lift, and Lockrite Differential lockers on both front and rear. The body has typical rust but is not all that horrible. The frame, tub and firewall are all in good shape, but the normal rust on the front fenders, rear quarters over the wheel well and rear doors are bubbling with rust. The interior is Herculined, as is the hardtop. However the top is badly faded and needs stripped down and repainted. It has a 6 point rollcage and later model seats with 4 point harness' on both front seats. Not in the picture, but it has full complete hard doors. I guess I should mention a couple other things, so they are not a surprise. Windshield is cracked. There needs to be a bracket bought or fabricated to hold the power steering pump in place. Currently it is being held by a ratchet strap. Looks pretty redneck, but it works for now. Also, It's on 33" tires right now and drives a little loose on small winding roads. I'm sure it can be adjusted. It was a bad idea to start the auction with those pictures. I took it to town to wash it up and take those pics, and I realized 2 more things I thought I should mention. I had forgot (or got used to) all the gauges work but the fuel gauge. It works sometimes, but usually not. Not sure what it is. Also, it has developed a rear main seal leak from sitting and not getting used that much. Let me know if you have any specific questions.
