Vehicle Detail
*** NO RESERVE *** *** NO RESERVE *** *** NO RESERVE *** 1965 Buick Riviera GS / SUPER WILDCAT 425 This car is an original, numbers matching, GS / Super Wildcat. This Riviera combination was a very low production and extremely rare to find numbers correct. The GS option is very significant, not only was it given a Monster 425 CID "Super Wildcat" motor with 2, four barrel carbs (from the factory). This package also included a heavy duty transmission, performance rear axle, special suspension, quick ratio steering, and Buick’s big finned brakes. This car even has the "Rally Pac" gauge package….. This engine (again factory) produced 360hp and 465 Ft. Lbs. of Tourque !!! The engine casting number: 1364704 Cylinder head cast number: 1196914 Last 8 VIN stamped on engine block: 5H927866 (see pic of this stamping) Although I have only driven the car up and down the street (and in my parking lot) it runs and drives very well. The car is loaded with power options that also seem to function (even the am/fm radio). Please look at all the pics and ask any / all the questions you may have. The car is a 46 year old car and is showing some of it’s age, such as the interior has average wear, but missing bottom of rear seat (never did find out why that is missing), the headlight motor (for the "clamshell" headlight doors) needs repair, etc.. I reserve the rite to end the auction early as I have the car listed locally. A $500.00 deposit is due within 48hrs. of action end and full payment is due within 7 days of auction end. Vehicle is shown as is with no warranty expressed or implied. Additional information : I have located, on the engine block near the vin stamping, the following LX368, this indicates that it is a factory dual quad "Super Wildcat" engine. (again NUMBERS MATCHING) Also; I have alot of questions about the glove box not having a GS emblem, it does not. I hope this helps with further infor about the car and please send any questions (or knowledge) about the car. Thanks
