It has been a while since I listed a car on eBay, so I am throwing this one out here. Up for sale is a 2006 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. It was a TAKEHOME squad used by a sheriff's dept in eastern Minnesota. That means one deputy driver and the car goes home with him everyday. It is being sold with NO RESERVE! It is in generally good condition, but with all former intertceptors, there are a couple of minor flaws. It comes with the CARFAX guarantee. This car has never been wrecked and its title history is squeeky clean. I will provide the report with the sale. The paint on the car is like new! I have not buffed or waxed the car. All I did was wash it! I located 2 small dings. I had to look hard to find them. Aside from that, the outside of the car is darn near perfect. You get everything you see in the picture. It has a Setina PB400 pushbar, working spotlight, 6 antennas, window shades, and tinted windows. I do not know the percentage of tint. The front doors are tinted a bit, and the back doors and rear window are tinted a bit darker. The antennas are functional and the ends are in the headliner. There are 2 other holes which are sealed and plugged. I have touched up a few stone chips. Overall, the car certainly reeks 'squad car' still! The interior is in average to better than average condition. The front seats are near perfect. No rips or tears anywhere. The pads aren't flattened at all, either. They are very comfortable. The dashboard is perfect also with no holes from equipment on the pad. All dash and interior lighting works properly, even the ticket writing light. The steering wheel and door panels have no wear on them. The carpet is generally good, but has some wear where the drivers feet are. It does have good options with power drivers seat and cruise control. The floormats are new Ford OEM floormats. All in all, still in decent shape, but not perfect. The 4.6L V8 starts easily and runs perfect. No misses, stumbles, or exhaust leaks. The transmission operates perfectly as well. It drives just as good also. There are no rattles, clunks, or anything else to sour the driving experience. There are no check engine or any other trouble lights on. The car is 100% ready to drive. The tires are Goodyear Eagle Ultra Grips that show 30-35% tread remaining. All wear is even indicating no alignment problems. Even has a Class 1 hitch on the back. Here are some good things I noted about the car: 1. The starter was recently replaced. 2. The rear suspension was recently serviced and the rear sits nice and stout like it is supposed to. 3. I just replaced the water pump as it was making a slight rattle. Could have sold it the way it was, but I don't work that way. 4. Rear brakes were thin, so I replaced them. I always note descrepancies with the car. Here they are: 1. As noted, the carpet on the drivers side has wear under and around the floormat. 2. This car was used in a high clay/sand enviornment. Inside the front wheel wells, some paint has been "sandblasted" from the inside and has some minor surface rust in those areas. Touch up paint will solve that problem. 3. On the rear doors, the windows do work from the inside, but the door handles do not. The lock rods are also missing. 4. There was some equipment mounted on the center dash bezel near the trunk switch. There are a few screw holes from that. There you go. I will answer questions as quickly as I can.
