Vehicle Detail

I have seen these Dodge " Dude " trucks roll thru ebay over the years, but have NEVER seen another factory Sublime Green and most common C stripe you see is White, this one is Factory Black, actually the paint you see and stripe you see are all ORIGINAL so pretty much a " Survivor " status. Ok, so its rare with color combo, how about this, it is a Factory 383 and automatic WITH A/C !!!! Ok now heres another thing, how many of these old Dodge trucks do you find with Tail Light Shiny Tail Light trim ??? This is not my truck, I am only regrettably listing it for a friend of mine who I have tryed to convince to keep this truck, he would really like to but the money would come in alot handier right now. This truck has its numbers matching 383, unsure about Transmission but I have no reason to believe its not. The truck is a factory " One Wheel Wonder " however, there is a 4.10 Posi rear end that goes with this truck. I will be posting ALOT more pictures by Tuesday night and more information, but I wanted to get ball rolling tonight so I took just a few pics to get auction started. I have no idea WHERE on these trucks to look for Fender tag, if someone has an idea then e-mail me and tell me and I will get a pic up here of it. The owners son took a buffer to area on hood to see how paint was. It is pictured. This truck will buff out so nicely ! There are chips in paint but this is a " Survivor " in the best Impact color you could get in 1970. This truck is a 3/4 ton. Picture if you will, you have a stable of Mopar muscle, or even a Mopar Drag Car. Picture pulling it to the races or car show with this truck !! The truck is currently not running. Original motor was rebuilt but never finished. It is in engine bay and I will get pics posted Tuesday night. If your really hot for this truck now and cant wait till Tuesday for more pics and info, CALL OWNER Rich at 360-340-4703 Im thinking you wouldnt want to miss out on this truck, its absolutely perfect to take yourself right back to 1970 trailering your Race car to the track. Best of luck everyone !!!!On Sep-14-11 at 13:36:53 PDT, seller added the following information: I didnt forget about you guys - Im sorry I didnt get these loaded yesterday, very busy. Ok, I cleaned out the truck today, vacuumed it etc. This truck is pretty darn unique, the color for one ! I noticed today this truck has Power Brakes, how often do you find that on these trucks ? Manual steering, also has a Transmission Cooler. There is NO RUST in the bed, a very tiny bit in rocker under passenger door. I do not know what is under original floor covering but its not soft at all. You will notice in pictures that there are 4 or 5 fuel filler doors. You may need to rebuild the rebuilt 383 as like I stated in earlier description, the truck does not run, the motor ( original one ) was rebuilt but never finished. There are some pieces and parts Im sure you will need to finish the motor. The transmission and driveline are in truck still. There is a 4 bbl. Intake that goes with truck. I wrote down what the information Tag says in door jam and goes as follows : T.C.N. # 10042164 , max gvw lbs. 7500 , model D2 , rear axel capacity 5500 , rear axle 4.10 , make - Spicer , model 60 , engine 383 , front axle capacity 2800 , trans - auto , make Chrysler , model A727 , cert. net horsepower 199 @4400 rpm , front spring capacity 1500 , rear spring capacity 2600 , wb 128 . Built - 03 - 70 Ok, so anymore questions, please call and ask Rich ( again, 360-340-4703 ) - My personal feeling about this truck is that the mileage on odometer are correct and not rolled over. There are tell tale signs an enthusiast picks up on over the years. The rubber floor matt, NO WEAR ! I think alot of the condition you see on truck is due to sitting outside since 91. Prior to that, original owner had a huge camper on it since new and if you think about it, you only go camping during summer months - keeping mileage low. Anyway, I have gotten so many compliments on this truck just posting it. Think about the attention it will grab once someone puts it back on the road again !!! Again, Good Luck everyone !!!On Sep-14-11 at 13:49:26 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention, in the pics, you will see one spot in bed that is torn, it is not rusted out. I dont know what the heck could have happend there. Also, the trucks radiator is included ! On Sep-16-11 at 10:15:05 PDT, seller added the following information: This truck is NOT a 4X4, it is 2 wheel drive. When I was looking for a category the options I had to choose from were Ram 1500, Ram 2500 etc. wich this is not, it is a D200 wich they didnt have a category that I saw, I chose Power Wagon because I knew it was 60's - 70's model.
