Vehicle Detail
Rebuilt engine (approximately 1500 miles on it). new rings & pistons, D grind cam (have used only oil containing ZDDP), new rocker shaft with new aluminum roller-tipped rocker arms, new lifters & pushrods, new exhaust valves, 123 electronic distributor, MSD 6A ignition, Dellorto DHLA40 carburetors, Pure Power spin on oil filter, temp controlled oil cooler, re-cored radiator, electric fan, aluminum pulleys, new ball joints & trunnions, polyurethane bushings, new front shocks, rebuilt rear shocks, new front & rear springs, reinforced front spindle kit, new front & rear axle bearings, front and rear sway bars, HDVA Toyota 5 speed conversion, fabricated drive shaft with new u joints, light flywheel, harmonic balancer, new tires and wheels, mallory electric fuel pump, spin on fuel filter under tank, new fuel lines, new brake lines, rebuilt calipers, new brake and clutch master cylinders, new wheel cylinders, new interior panels, new carpet, Miata seats, new steering wheel, new solid wood Curly Maple dash, all instruments function, volt meter replaced ammeter, alternator, gear reduction starter, plastic transmission cover, new exhaust, new top, new door hardware, new windshield, PIAA driving lights, O2 sensor installed with fuel/air indicator panel in dash, and a bunch more I am forgetting. I have a thick pile of receipts. This car had some rust when I bought it. As a matter of fact, the car wouldn't run and looked pretty bad overall. I did not do a frame off restoration, but I did unbolt practically everything and replaced it or cleaned and painted it. The front fenders are good, I replaced one of them and repaired the other one. I replaced the doors. The rocker panels are new. I cut out all the rust I could find and replaced it with metal. I am not a body man, so the overall finish could have been better. Don't get me wrong, this car is a head-turner! It is almost embarrassing to sit at stop lights in it because people stare at it so much. It runs strong, rides good and drives straight as an arrow. I just added the California Car Cover to the list and managed to add everything else too.On Sep-12-11 at 06:45:23 PDT, seller added the following information:Also included if wanted: Original grille. The original seats need to be rebuilt, but are complete. I put new bearings, seals, synchros, new cross shaft & throwout bearing, etc in the stock transmission. It works fine but grinds a bit when shifting into 2nd gear. I didn't bother to do anything about it after I installed the Celica transmission. Various gaskets and seals. Old speedometer. It works but the odometer reset rod is missing. It has 58K on it, so I would assume those are original miles. Original intake and exhaust manifolds. I cleaned these up and they are ready to use if needed. Other bits and pieces I removed and saved because they were useable. On Sep-16-11 at 07:15:34 PDT, seller added the following information:I forgot to mention the quick ratio steering rack I installed. Works nicely. All new fluids, brake system, transmission, rear end, and Evans Coolant in the radiator.
