This is my 1971 Toyota Land Cruiser Fj40, and it runs great. My dad bought it new in 1971 from Toyota Dealership. I got it from his about six years ago. it has 58410 Around town, original miles on the odometer when I got it.This had the rusty spots in the side and back door, until I had my body shop friend do some body work and now it is too nice for hunting. About five years ago, He had the whole body walnut shell blasted to bare metal, did the little body work that it needed, installed a rust inhibertor to prevent it to ever rust again, seamed sealed all the joint and had it line-X underneath and the inside red. Then painted the rest toyota red to match. In the mean time. since the body was off I decieded to have the engine, transmission and transfor case gone through by a local machine shop. While I was waiting for that. I had another friend that owns an Powered coating business and asked him to powered coated the frame, all the pedals, shift linkages seat frames and all other misc hinges and brackets. The cruiser has 4-wheel disc brakes, Power steering w/ heavy-duty high steer steering arm and not from a pick up, GM tilt steering column, Dual front steering Stablizer and we had the spring over done on the front leaf springs. Dual front and rear Rancho shocks for stability. We installed the Opt. rear 30 gallon fuel tank and Opt. rear heater. I installed the upper and lower Tuffy consol w/ CB and scanner in the upper one and Sony am/fm/cd player in the lower console with front and rear alpine marine speakers. Autometer Pro Comp gauges, all new upholstery seat. Th eCruiser has a Soft top w/ half doors, Steel full doors, and a bikini top and a safari top. 10000lbs front winch and a 3000lbs rear winch in the custom front and rear bumpers. run great and I need to sale, because of out of work for a year now and already lost our home, living with parent to try to get back on our feet. this is very nice and will turn heads asyou are driving down the street. winning bidder pay all cost for shipping.
