first auction was ended early by ebay, not by me...due to wording i added regarding paypal fee's that violated their policies. sorry about that everyone...let's try this again.. 1996 lincoln towncarsignature editioncolor is silver frostthe vehicle is also up for sale at my mechanic's garage location, so i do reserve the right to end this auction early if and when it sells there.very nice car...daily driver..very low miles...leather seats in great condition,no rips, cuts or burn marks at all... you will not be disappointed with this one...they just don't make 'em like this anymore.let's have a real live auction starting at $.99 and see what happensall bidders are welcome but if you have less than 3 transactions as a buyer or seller please contact me before you place your first bid just to confirm that you are set up with paypal to process the $500.00 deposit that is required within 24 hours of the end of the auction... less than 73,500 actual miles on vehicle,very nice condition..well maintained...engine was replaced 6k miles ago..may of 2010 due to a knocking noise that developed in the lower right motor area...motor never froze up and was still drivable but something obviously had gone wrong...ford dealer wanted over $2500 just to tear it down to find the problem..no way was i gonna do that...replacement engine bill was a little over $2,300 installed...replacement motor had 62k miles on it when installed......runs as good or better now than before the engine problem developed....water pump replaced at that time also....front & rear brake rotors,both lower ball joints and front end alignment done february of 2011,battery was replaced 2 years ago...body is fine other than a few scratches and scrapes here and there, parking lot dings,nothing major....plenty of tread left on all 4 tires... cold air...everything in and on the car works as expected except the cd changer in trunk, which will not function.....the stock jbl am-fm radio and cassette player and all speakers sound great...no fluid leaks at all that i'm aware of...paint still good for it's age...1 owner when i bought it...transferred title to my mother who lives with us now but it's time to find it a new home as mom no longer drives and we don't need a 3rd car...and it's too good of a towncar to not be enjoyed by a new owner...has always been a non smoking car.... a tag shop is 5 minutes away from me to notarize the transfer of the title over to you...if you are from out of state you can purchase a transit tag for $50.00 at this location also and legally drive the vehicle to your home state to get it registered.....please understand this is a cash only sale,no checks or money orders of any kind....the car is being sold as is, with no warranty of any kind.......so please ask any and all questions you may have before bidding... thanks for looking and good luck to you all.
