2000 JAGUAR XJ8 In 1998 Jaguar released the X03, the latest version of its XJ series. Jaguar released its first XJ in 1968. Since then it has become their flagship model and production of XJ's have continued through 2010. The X03 was also known as the XJ8, Vanden Plas, XJR and the Daimler. Production of this version lasted from 1997 to 2003. It had many features, both inside and out, which made it popular with consumers.
