Im selling my 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu. Converted to an SS 396 4-spd. The car started life out as a 350 cid 350 turbo trans, but now has taken a new shape to a 460 HP 396 BB, Muncie M-22 rockcrusher, Moser complete 12-Bolt rear 3:90 gears, full Hotchkis suspention front to back, front disc brakes, 11" rear currie drums, long ARP wheel studs front and rear, 3" driveshaft built by Dyno- Nets, 2 1/2 Flowmaster welded exhaust, Aluminum fuel cell in trunk (also have regular gas tank with a welded in sump) Teflon coated inner fuel line braided by V-Tek, 1965 396 LS-7 built by Biddel Racing Engines with a Comp Cams roller cam, fully ported heads and intake, 10 under steel crank, splayed Miloden main caps, bored 40 over with speed pro pistons, large oval port heads redone with new valves, springs, ect. Holley 800 cfm double pumper, I received this motor back in October last year completely blueprinted and put on the dyno. 460 HP at the flywheel and 430 pounds of tork. Not bad for a 396! This car runs AWESOME! The paint is a 16 year old paint job, burnt orange (still have the chrome malibu moulding on the fenders and doors) There are some dings and little rust spots, chips here and there under doors, but the overall paint is like glass and it shows very well. New vynal top, new rims tires (whats left of the back tires) SS interior buckets, dash, console ect. Painless wiring throughout.There is a patch panel on the floor of the drivers side. Other than that the floors are original. And a HUGE, HUGE book of every receipt and thing spent on this car. Even a car cover and extra 4" Fiberglass painted hood. You might ask why sell this awesome car? I need a work van and lets face it, I dont even drive it enough! Maybe 200 miles on the drivetrain. I thought about taking the car to a nice remote location like other e-bayers do to take pictures, but this is where this Chevelle lives, in this heated , AC garage, this is its home. This car needs to go to someone who will race it , drive it, cruise it, or just beat the sh!! out of it! This chevelle is the BOOGIEMAN! There is no nitrous on this engine, I just liked the polshed bottle next to the polshed fuel cell.
