This Jeep Grand Cherokee was seized by our department and awarded to us.
We hold title in our name.
The vehicle starts easily with a jump, runs and drives. Our experience is limited to short drives of less than 5 miles at no more than 45 miles an hour. Many people ask why our experiences with the vehicle is limited; we only drive the car from where it is seized to an impound lot and then to a third party inspection. We do not have the opportunity to drive it faster or farther.
Seized vehicles can sit for many months before we sell them.
A third party inspection of this Jeep Grand Cherokee was completed. The engine, brakes, and steering are rated "Good"; the exhaust system and tires are rated "Average"; the transmission and air conditioning are rated "Poor".
Per the inspection, transmission will not shift past 2nd gear, the serpentine belt is dried and cracked, and both front axle universal joints are bad. Therefore, IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THIS VEHICLE BE TOWED FROM OUR LOT.
This Jeep's cloth upholstery should clean up nicely. There are however several burn marks in the driver's seat. This Jeep is equipped with a Premium Sound System consisting of a Kenwood AM/FM/CD Stereo with a Soundstream Digital Bass Machine, an Orion 5000W High Current Competition Mono Amplifier and an X-static Batcap Model 400. The power windows, locks, and mirrors work. There is cruise control, driver and passenger airbags, interval wipers, floor mats and a roof rack.
This Jeep's front tires are Kelly Explorer (P225/75R15); the rear passenger side tire is a Goodyear Wrangler (P225/75R15). There is a 'temporary use only' spare tire currently on the Jeep in the rear driver's side location. That tire, a General Grabber AW (P225/75R15) is currently in the trunk.
There is some body damage, such as a dented hood and a cracked windshield. Please inspect the pictures for more information.
