Vehicle Detail
This is a pristine 2009 Dodge Viper ACR Hardcore edition. The Hardcore edition saves weight via a radio delete and avoiding some soundproofing. Believe me you can't hear a radio in a Viper anyway, nor would you want to! The V-10 is music to any car enthusiast's ears. Needless to say, the Hardcores will be the most collectible and desired Vipers. One thing is for sure, a Viper says you are a "real car guy" unlike those flashy import guys. I bought this new in July 2009 from Bill Pemberton at Woodhouse Dodge in Blair, NE. Woodhouse is the nation's largest Viper dealer. Most of the work was done by the dealership and installed at delivery. Other work was done locally at Ron Durchin's Autowerk's in Northbrook. If you've been to either shop, you know how impeccable their work is. I bought the car to track it as I was getting in quite a few days of track time with my previous Viper. However, my schedule has not really allowed me to track much so it simply is not reasonable to keep it. I have tracked with the Viper Club of Illinois one day in '09, once in '10, and once this year. You can confirm that with any local members you know or I can put you in touch with the chapter President. Regardless, the condition of the car speaks for itself. Vipers are available new for pretty cheap, so I am realistic about the price. However, keep in mind that this car has all the desirable options already installed. There is only so much you can do to these cars as far as performance upgrades and this car has them all. You would spend another $15k easily doing these upgrades to a new car, and this one only has 4300 miles. This car also has the MaxCare warranty covering 7 full years or 50k miles, bumper to bumper. That warranty is completely transferable. So you are not only way better off than with a new car but you have the peace of mind to go with it. Suffice it to say it is a great car, handles amazingly, and has torque that could spin the earth. I have not dyno'd her but others with the same upgrades are making 660 HP. Come and get it! PS I will be at the Promenade in Bolingbrook for Supercars Saturday tomorrow AM if you are local and want to take a look.
