We have had this very early model Mk2 for 5 years and taken it from a non-runner to a soundly running car with most mechanical systems rebuilt. Many of the cosmetic items, but not all, have been dealt with. Our investment exceeds $25,000.00. The car is insured for that amount. We are JCNA members and have shown the car locally with good scores.
