1971 Datsun 240 Z all original MATCHING #s. 2.4L straight 6 cylinder motor with 4 speed manual transmission. This car is straight and NO RUST. Interior is all original and in decent shape, the dash does have some cracks see pics. Clear coat is almost completely gone. This is not a show car but it has the potential to be. Actual mileage is unknown odometer reads 82,816. I am not sure of the manufacturer of the wheels they are the only wheels I have for this car. The title is clear, it has been sitting for a couple of years but the motor starts right up and runs. I put a new battery, fuel pump and filter. I took it out for a drive this morning and it hesitates a little when you get on it. It shifts fine and the brakes work good. Tires have decent tread but have been sitting and should be replaced. The dash has some cracks and I will include an aftermarket hard dash cover with the car. To be a daily driver I would have it tuned up, new tires and drive it. Sorry but there are too many scammers out thereOn Sep-03-11 at 09:35:11 PDT, seller added the following information: I am selling the car for my dad, he bought the car from the original owner in 2005. It was his every day driver for a couple of years, now he can not get in and out of it very easily (too low to the ground) so he does not drive it. The car was purchased new at Park Motors in California and spent its whole life there until 2005. Every receipt for any work done from day 1 was kept and will come with the car. I have taken more photos showing the usual rust areas to show how solid the car is. The only rust is a spot on the front bumper and some spots where the paint is chipped ,very superficial. If you would like I can email pics just let me have your email address. I removed the seat covers yesterday to find that the passenger seat is in bad shape I also have pics of that. The car starts right up but needs a tune up and uses a little oil. As far as driving it 600 miles it has not been driven much in the last 3 years so I would advise against it until it has been gone through and has new tires. All in all a great original car could be driven daily with a little tlc but needs to be restored. Thanks, James H
