Vehicle Detail
Up for sale I have a 1986 Jeep CJ-7 that is in AMAZING condition. Basically, since I obtained this car in 2009 it has been sitting dormant in my garage, pulled out each month for a good washing and a 5 mile lap around town. Nevertheless, I acquired it from the original owner whom was a Jeep lover in West Virginia. He had performed a complete frame-off restoration and paint job. You can easily see from the pictures, it's beautiful. The Jeep has been lifted and sports 35" BF Goodrich A/T Tires with TONS of tread left. Better yet, I have an ultra clean 4.2L Inline 6 Engine that is arguably the best Jeep Engine ever - especially for 4x4 enthusiasts (It has more torque than the AMC 304 V8). When I got the Jeep, I immediately took it to the world renowned Jeeps-R-Us in Laguna Beach California for a massive checkout and upgrades. Unfortunately, it required a relatively expensive California Smog Equipment upgrade (and a minor repair to become Smog Certified). Additionally, I swapped the front seats for a much more comfortable variety and most importantly... I upgraded the vehicle with Power Brakes (WAY better than the original, which had almost no stopping power). I have the invoice detailing all of their repairs as well as the Smog Certificate results and their complete inspection that Jeeps-R-Us performed from top to bottom. Cosmetically, there's a few minor chips in the paint, which any body shop should be able to do a color match/repair on. Personally, I like the personality of a few chips here and there. The vehicle comes as pictured, except I also have the two original "hard" doors (which were also painted to match and are in great condition). I don't have a Hard or Soft Top anymore... It was ugly and a pain to get on/off. Plan to store this vehicle under cover, as I have. Almost forgot. I just put a brand new battery in today, and will be taking the vehicle in for another Smog and DMV renewal on Monday (so, if you happen to be in California... you'll be set through Aug 2012!) In short, this is a great around town play vehicle, or of course if you love 4x4'ing... If you have questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
