For Sale Well Maintained 1984 Mercedes Benz 280SL Red Roadster (Euro bumpers & Euro Headlamps!) with Tan interior inside is clean fair condition , and 101,800 miles, Has Had recent NY inspection till we took of the road 4 months ago was driven on occasion and garaged most of its life , this was given to us by a family member , Six Cylinder OHC engine, automatic transmission, A/C Needs a charge , AM/FM Radio is connected , New Battery was installed , Includes Red Hard Top , soft top in Good shape . No damage some normal wear and tear and scratches minor around body Nothing big at all , this car is in great shape for year and model was garage kept the bumpers are in great shape no rust shown , no cracks on dash inside wood has some peeling not major Well Maintained Reliable Daily Driver, starts, shifts smoothly and drives well, nice tight little car. Car was just serviced we did a oil change , changed spark plugs , checked soft top , changed battery , runs out well , needs a switch for passenger side window , motor works just needs a switch . new emergency brake was installed. Note: E bay would not accept VIN # as this was imported (Title is available NY State title in hands ) euro car , rare, the VIN is WDB1070421A007992 We are missing the front moldings on each side of car shown in picture u can order from mercedes or on ebay . A great fun car to drive - much quicker and faster than an American 380SL with auto trans. Gets thumbs-up everywhere it goes! Car is a head turner also when the top is down convertibles are always a nice thing , nice cool rare cherry red color shines .comes with a cover for car as well good for rain snow etc . Note the car was repainted by previous owner on the fender had a minor ding and repainted it looks great car did not have any major accidents etc was owned by previous family friend that very close and was a collector had many of these cars before but past on in life and now we have it and need space , Wood on console Has some peeling .
